A.L. started Huston Energy Corporation and Research Services International, Inc. in 1967 after reading a magazine article about a man in Los Angelas, CA that located missing heirs to estates. A.L. went to California and visited with the man in the article about the missing heirs business, and from that day forward, A.L has been hooked on locating missing heirs to estates and locating owners of unclaimed oil and gas mineral interest. He has worked in every state in the U.S., and located thousands of heirs. His two sons, daughter and three grandsons have participated along with him in the business.

Mike began his career with Huston Energy Corporation and Research Services International, Inc., locating missing heirs to unclaimed estates and owners of unclaimed oil and gas mineral interest in 1986. Mike has been involved in locating thousands of missing heirs and lost owners since his career began and currently serves as President of Huston Energy Corporation. Mike led the charge to expand outside of Oklahoma and now Huston Energy Corporation is well established in North Dakota and Texas.

Brooks is the third generation landman & genealogist to join the family business. He followed his grandfather and father around the country, courthouse to courthouse as a kid, and fell in love with locating the beneficiaries of the unclaimed estates. His first job with Huston Energy Corporation was retrieving books for the Landmen at the courthouse, and worked his way up to Vice-President. Brooks is known to make a deal happen no matter what is takes.
